Privacy Policy

About the app

Safe360 is developed by Darma Tek Private Limited ("we", "us") for the authorised staff of our client companies. It records attendance, patrol checkpoints, site visits and emergency (panic) alerts. It is not for public use: you can only sign in with an account created by your employer.

What the app collects

• Sign-in details: your employee number and password, used only to sign you in. Your password is not stored on the phone.
• Profile: your name, employee number and company, as provided by your employer's system.
• Location (GPS): only while you use the app, to verify attendance, patrol checkpoints, site visits and panic alerts. The app does not track your location in the background.
• Photos: photos you take in the app for attendance, patrols, site visits or incidents. On a device without a camera you may choose a photo instead. The app does not read your photo library otherwise.
• Work records: the time and type of each check-in, check-out, lunch break, patrol scan, site visit and alert.
• Device identifier: a random ID created by the app, attached to patrol records. It is not your phone's hardware ID.

What the app does not do

• No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no selling of data.
• No third-party analytics or advertising tools.
• No access to your contacts, messages, microphone or files.

How the data is used and shared

The data is used only to record and report your work activity for your employer. It is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to your employer's workforce management system, and is visible to your employer's authorised supervisors and administrators. We do not share it with anyone else, except where required by law.

Storage and retention

On your phone, the app keeps your signed-in session in the device's secure storage (or, if that is unavailable, in the app's private storage) until you log out. Work records are kept on your employer's system for as long as your employer requires them.

Your choices

You can change the app's location and camera permissions in your phone's settings at any time, but the app needs them to record attendance and patrols. To access, correct or delete your data, contact your employer or us at the address below. Logging out removes your session from the phone; uninstalling the app removes all data the app stored on the phone.
